Happy Friday girls! Allow me to introduce an awesome company today! We are praising the beautiful artistry of the ladies over at Belles and Thistles! This duo caught our eye on Instagram and we thought we just had to let our readers…and more specifically our local readers, know a little more about this awesome floral company just down the street! So read on brides to be and see why Pink Pearls praises Belles and Thistles…
The seed for Belles and Thistles was planted in 2000, while we worked for an inspiring pair of women at a flower shop on the University of Illinois U-C campus. That experience was life changing and ultimately taught us that we wanted to be florists forever. We grew into best friends, got our degrees, then jobs, and dreamed up ways to make our mark in the floral business. We designed several events together over the next many years, and then one day, about 5 years ago, Belles and Thistles bloomed into the beautiful partnership that it is today.
We are loving our unusual approach to event design and the flexibility it provides us and our brides. We only take on special projects, predominantly weddings, providing personal attention to each of our Belles Brides. Without the confines of a retail florist, we have the freedom to travel wherever our brides need us. From Illinois to Wisconsin, and beyond, if we can drive it we will design it. We often meet with our clients in the evenings and on weekends when it’s most convenient for them. We’ve even planned with clients on both coasts entirely online. Whatever works for our clients works for us.
Above all, outstanding service, superb quality and economical pricing are our highest concern. We get our blooms in just prior to each individual event to insure peak freshness. No budget is too big or too small, and we’re all about the details and personal touches that make each event unique. Collaborating with our clients is a dream, because Belles Loves Weddings!
What a wonderful story and beautiful work these women have done! I really love that they are doing what they love and doing it together! Kind of reminds me of MiMi and I! I feel that when people do what they love for a career, it really shines through in the craftmanship and Belles and Thistles seems to be no exception to the rule. Beautiful stuff!
