Pearls of Wisdom~ Bridal/Bridesmaid Hairpin Tutorial

Good morning pearlies!  Any DIY brides out there?  This tutorial is super easy and would make a GORGEOUS set of bridal hairpins (think of them in white with a little rhinestone center…yes!)  or change to any color and give them as charming gifts to your bridesmaids to wear on the big day and beyond!!!

Ok let’s get started!

Materials needed:

*artificial flowers (I used hydrangea’s)

*matching felt

*glue gun

*scissors

*silver or gold hairpins with plate

*needle and thread

*beads of your choice

~First cut small circles out of the felt and glue them to the hairpin plates.

~Next take the flowers middles out of them and put two sets of petals together.  From there, sew the bead to the middle of the petals and knot it in the back.

~Finally, glue the finished beaded petals to the felt covered hairpin…

And voila!  That’s seriously it!

Now you just need to put them in and go look pretty!  Whether you are sporting them as a gorgeous bride, a sweet little sidekick bridesmaid, or just a girl adding a little flair to your ensemble, these babies rock!

We hope you liked this Pearl of Wisdom today!  Time to go create a set of your own.  Let your imagination fly, and let us know if you do.  We would love to see and hear about your personal version of these.  As always, thanks for reading!

xoxo,

    • Hi Smitha!
Thanks so much! It’s such an easy look too. Just braid your hair on the crown and pin the flowers into the braid. We love this look too! Thanks so much for reading us!
