Good morning you guys! So today we have this beautiful boho inspiration shoot for you! Some things may look familiar as we used many close up shots when we did our Pink Pearls Praise of The Boho Barbie. 🙂
I asked Mel to take some photos of my new designs for the Boho Barbie website, and we decided while we were at it, we wanted to mix in elements to the shoot that could be a boho photo inspiration for brides and their bridesmaids. We combined our talents and added a great location in Brincka Cross Gardens, and phenomenal make up by Carrie of Sta-Glam. It turned out to be a winning combination. See for yourself…
We had so much fun with all the props! I adored how the feather bouquets turned out and at the last minute Mel brought some umbrella’s she thought could be fun…it turned out they were the EXACT color scheme of what I wanted for the shoot! The girls were hilarious as we directed them through everything, and it all looked so cute in the end.
I loved that we used subtle costume changes throughout and I insisted on bright beautiful color! Sometimes you just need to be loud with your style. Not every wedding has to be blush, gold, and ivory. Not every bridesmaid has to wear a starchy gown with matching shoes. That’s the beauty of boho…there are no rules because it originated from a people that were actually (to put it bluntly) giving the finger to fashion.
Eclectic jewelry and shoe choices also added a sweet touch to the final look, and the makeup from Sta-glam looked amazing for the entire shoot…and even into the night which the girls were very excited about!
We hope you are inspired by today’s shoot, and if nothing else it let’s you know that it’s ok to do something different and bold for your big day and it will still be BEAUTIFUL!
