It’s Monday, and the start of our own personal fashion week on PPB. We are very excited to be highlighting some of our favorite things, all having to do with pretty much the best thing about weddings…The fashion! And what better way to start things rolling than to talk about the gowns! We love them all…Lace, silk, strapless…high-end…handmade. Whatever the case (or style) may be, we don’t discriminate. So without further adieu, we wanted to highlight a few of our favorites that have graced the blog thus far…So here they are…PPB’s top gown picks!
Gown 1 is an ivory strapless lace tiered bottom gown with subtle beading, a gathered sweetheart neckline, and a low back. The bride added a beautiful satin sash and we loved the result. It was a clearance rack find for her that she took home and added fitting and design details to herself! Totally impressive and inspiring for sure!
Gown 2 is a simple but stunning gown. It has an A-Line shaping and a sweetheart neckline that’s highlighted with thick see-through tulle straps. What we love most about it though, is the bottom’s asymmetrical lace detailing. The bride purchased her dress through Pronuptia Paris.
Gown 3 is a dreamy bohemian gown in head to toe lace. We adore the full flowing skirt, and the extra long sash. However the sweetest highlight would have to be full back of buttons. Such a stunning detail! And the best part of everything is it was handmade by the bride’s mother. It just doesn’t get much sweeter.
Gown 4 is a doozy! It is ruffles galore and we can’t get enough! It is a Cinderella bride’s dream with a corset back, extra full skirt, and a sweetheart neckline. All that’s left to need is a pumpkin carriage to drive the happy couple away. The top also includes beautiful lace and beading details that are beyond gorgeous. The awesome find for this bride was at David’s Bridal.
Gown 5 is an AMAZING fitted lace gown. It features long sleeves, a scalloped detailing on the v-neck cut, and a gorgeous long rounded train. It’s a vintage bride’s dream, and was found through Ferrari Bridal. Perfection.
Gown 6 is a stunning gown that has so many great outside-the-box details! We love the gathered tulle and crystal closure featured in the back. The drop waist, fitted silhouette, and the burst of ruffles guarantees that all eyes will be on you for your big day. It’s a fashion risk that’s totally worth it in our eyes. This bride’s good taste came courtesy of designer Haley Paige, and we give it major kudos.
Gown 7 is our final pick today, and has us ending on a subtle but beautiful note. This lovely snow white chiffon gown is the perfect one for a beachy wedding affair! This too offers a drop waist detail, but with a flowing silhouette that leaves lots of breathing room for the bride. We love the extra long ruffled top as it adds dimension and uniqueness. Bohemian dreamin’ at it’s finest. This gown was designed by The Boho Barbie formerly known as 27 Dresses Designs.
Pearlies we hope you enjoyed our first day of fashion week! We are super happy to be offering you all kinds of fashion info and pretty things in the days to come, so stay tuned!
