At Home Holiday Engagement~ Josh and Tera

Morning Pearlies!  Hope you’re having a a great week…Before we head into our Christmas celebrations this weekend, I am doing some holiday flashbacks to end the week.  If you missed this one the first time around, I hope you get a chance to take it in today.  I loved this idea for an engagement session.  Although this year…there’s A LOT more snow on the ground this time of year.  lol!  Enjoy… Original Post Below: Sooooo….don’t you just love it, when it seems like keeping something simple ends up making it unique??  Well if you do, you’ll love today’s feature.  Josh and Tera opted to do an at home engagement session, and it really couldn’t have turned out any cuter in my opinion.  The couple incorporated so much of themselves just by…well…being themselves.  The session was taken around the holidays by our awesome (and very talented) friend Mel Klemz of Mel Klemz Photography, and the results were lovely.  You’ll see the couple was able to take a few photos outdoors due to the mild Indiana winter …

Adorable Gold and Peacock Courthouse Real Wedding in Portland~ Chintan and Jessica

Hey Pearlies!  Today’s wedding is so pretty and so…well…peacock-y!  LOL!  I just love the vintage style bride and all of the gold mixed with jewel tones, and I’m hoping you will too!  You really don’t see these color combinations too often, but it was a treat to see when this landed in the PPB inbox.  The couple definitely put their personalities and style into the day, and I just love it! So enjoy re-living this beautiful spring day…and the story that matches it’s beauty! The Story We met seven years ago at a nightclub in Portland which no longer exists. Fittingly enough, by chance we had our photo taken the night we met. During the pedicab tour after our American wedding, we re-created the same pose and photo from seven years prior. The Proposal A few weeks after returning from India where I met his family, it was nearly Valentine’s Day. He had his brother send the ingredients for my favorite Indian food, street-style pizza. In India, you often have to offer bribes to get …

Pearls of Wisdom~ Wedding Table Planning Made Easy via Commins & Co.

Hey hey Pearlies!  Today’s post is coming from Commins and Co. …They put together a perfect little Wedding Table Planning “Infographic” I wanted to share with you today. I think everyone can relate to the reasoning for this coming together…”Making a decision as to who should sit where for the wedding reception can be difficult, with so many different groups of people to take into account. You’ll want to be careful not to split up distinct groups (e.g. work colleagues) or, worse still, sit divorced couples together. Then there are the practicalities of your table plan to consider; exactly how many people will be in attendance and how are you going to comfortably find room for them all within the reception hall?” With that said… Enjoy… xoxo, Christina

Pastel Meets Vibrance Real Wedding~ Michael and Julia

Good morning Pearlies!  I’m so excited about today’s post…All I can say is…pretty…pretty…pretty.  This real wedding is coming from Australia’s most prestigious university!  From the ladies to the fun sock to the decor.  There really is nothing but good to show here!  I hope you love the inspiration along with the highlights of the love story today!  Enjoy! Michael and I met through mutual friends and had an instant connection, when we were 18 and 20. My family had just moved overseas after I’d finished high school, and I had just commenced at university. Feeling homesick for my mother’s wonderful Vietnamese cooking, I asked friends to join me at a local Vietnamese restaurant, and one of them brought her new friend, Michael. I was struck at first sight, and we were pretty much inseparable, in heart if not physically ever since. We spent 10 years courting, finishing our relative studies, and travelling, studying and working overseas, before moving in together and starting our lives together in Canberra nearby family and adopting our furbabies, Snowy the …
