Artsy Christmas Styled Shoot With A Zebra! – Mae Small Photography

Hey hey pearlies!  I hope you’ve had a wonderful week.  I figured this flashback post was the perfect way to end the year.  🙂  Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year…enjoying those you hold most dear.  ❤ Original Post Below: Good morning Pearlies!  I LOVE Christmas! Looking at all of these awesome shoots makes me want to snuggle up with a blanket and hot chocolate.  There’s something so magical about Christmas time, and this styled shoot from Mae Small is a perfect example of Christmas magic!  We love the overall artsy feel and the natural palette with pops of red.  It’s just absolutely gorgeous!  We know you will agree, but read on and see for yourself! The featured couple is so cute and quirky and I think the bride’s headband is absolutely adorable!  Here comes more with the zebra! Such beautiful details!  Everything has a rustic meets vintage appeal and balances well with the youthfulness of the couple.   We hope you all enjoyed this post as much as we did!  Thanks to Mae Small …

Pearls of Wisdom~ Wedding Table Planning Made Easy via Commins & Co.

Hey hey Pearlies!  Today’s post is coming from Commins and Co. …They put together a perfect little Wedding Table Planning “Infographic” I wanted to share with you today. I think everyone can relate to the reasoning for this coming together…”Making a decision as to who should sit where for the wedding reception can be difficult, with so many different groups of people to take into account. You’ll want to be careful not to split up distinct groups (e.g. work colleagues) or, worse still, sit divorced couples together. Then there are the practicalities of your table plan to consider; exactly how many people will be in attendance and how are you going to comfortably find room for them all within the reception hall?” With that said… Enjoy… xoxo, Christina

Winter Beauty Color Palette

Happy Monday Pearlies!  Today I wanted to do a continuation of winter color palettes!  I just love showing unexpected palettes around the seasons.  This one embraces colors in nature coming together to create a beautiful natural element to a cooler weather outdoor affair.  I love the use of wood, metal, and glass with just a touch of colors to brighten things up.  Hope it inspires all of you that have upcoming winter weddings to get out there, and make it all your own.   xoxo, Christina Vendors: Florals- Carrie Wilcox Floral Design/ Photography- Alexandra Tremaine Photography/ Event Planner- Kerri-Lynn Orsini with Stella Day Events/ Vintage Rentals- Borrowed, Vintage Rentals

Baby It’s Cold Outside Color Palette

Morning Pearlies!  And happy Friday!  It’s been a minute since I’ve done a color palette, and I figured I should continue on with the Christmas Spirit driving me around these days and dust off this oldie but goodie styled shoot from the PPB vault and make this off-the-beaten-path Christmas color palette…  Don’t just think the holiday’s means red and green.  Although there are a great use of those colors included in this gorgeous feature, there are also some awesome bright hues intertwined to make it one of a kind.  Be inspired…I know I am. Thanks again for tuning in today you guys!  See ya next week… xoxo, Christina Vendors: Photographer: Ron Delhaye | Ron Delhaye Studios/ Venue: Red Barn Experience, LaPorte, IN/ Stylist: Ashley Thunder Events/Florist: Thode Floral/Sweets & Desserts: Ashley Thunder Events/Cake: Uptown Cakery/Menswear: L.R. Then Comes Marriage… Industrial Meets Natural Real Boho Wedding~ Trey and Laura

Hey hey!  Happy Monday Pearlies!  Today’s wedding is pretty much my dream wedding, and I’m so excited to share it with you!  The sweet couple has an awesome story and their fun and carefree personalities completely shine through in Every. Single. Image.  The bride Laura was sweet enough to share some details on how this momentous occasion came about.  Here’s what she had to say: Trey and I met at a Halloween party 5 years ago. I stole his heart dressed up in a homemade Paula Deen costume. Trey was a zombie. I knew he was the one on our 3rd date when he surprised me by making baked ziti from scratch and roasting gourmet s’mores by his fireplace. It helped he had an adorable dog named Zoë that he treated like a queen. Living in Austin, some of our favorite things to do include seeing live music, finding awesome food trucks to eat at and being outdoors while enjoying fine specialty cocktails on a patio somewhere. Trey proposed at a quaint little spot called …
