Well good morning pearlies! Hope everyone out there is enjoying this beautiful (and hot here in the midwest) summer! You may have noticed a pause in posts here at the blog, and want to know what’s up with that…Welp…in true Pink Pearls (keepin’ it real) style…here’s “what’s goin’ on”…
We are doing some rearranging (if you will) here and I (Chrissy) will be starting as of November 1st going it alone as the Pink Pearls editor. I’ll be taking the upcoming months to switch things over, update blog info tabs, and of course collect more amazing content to start us all fresh for fall and winter wedding inspo. You may be asking yourself: What the heck happened to MiMi?? Well everything is going great with MiMi, and that’s the problem. lol! She owns a growing wedding planning, design, and floral business that has just taken off and probably has more than doubled it’s workload on her. We are still total besties, and it wasn’t an easy decision for her to leave us, but she has no choice but to move forward with her first biz love- Unveiled Weddings and Events. I am so very proud of her, and wish her all the best! In fact, she keeps a blog over on her website that showcases the weddings she designs that is pretty inspiring too. You can follow that by clicking here!
As for you Photogs, artists, and wedding vendors alike…I’m currently looking for FALL/WINTER content!

Yes! Since the re-launch will be November 1st, I would love to throw out some beautiful fall and holiday inspired content to all of the beautiful PPB readers! I’m interested of course in real weddings, but also love a great inspiration shoot, a fall or holiday tutorial, engagement shoot etc.

I know in the midst of all this summer heat it may be hard to start thinking of pumpkin spice weddings and inspiration shoots, but I know you can do it. :) I’m looking forward to hearing from you and being inspired by the beauty you send. It’s been such a great ride here so far and it’s because of the many talented folks that have graced us with their work! I appreciate you and I’m so excited to see what’s next!

Oh Pearlies! We hope you are enjoying your summer, and smiling on. If not, let us help you along with today’s wedding. We are just floored by the beauty in this one. Think boho beauty meets hipster hunk, and then they tie the knot Steel Magnolia’s style…Can I get an amen for a big white tent?? Love Pic Love perfectly captured both the romance and fun of the day…Like perfectly. Did I mention I think this is perfectly captured? Anyhoo, as always we hope this inspires you guys…Be sure to check out the amazing details…mismatched light blue bridesmaid dresses, ribbon bunting backdrop, cake, lighting…I really can’t pick a favorite thing about this feature. That’s where you come in. Enjoy!

I am in awe of her work. Her floral work is heavenly and the tablescapes are enchanting. The Midwest is just bursting with talent and we love it!
Oh my, this sunset shot is radiant and she looks amazing! The bride’s playful style definitely shines through as she changes from her veil to this lovely floral crown.
We love this wedding! And all of the guest look like they danced their little hearts out! Fun, fun, fun!
